Personal Statement:

I’m livin’ the dream, teaching World History classes up to 1800 and Western Civilization to the Renaissance at Cal Poly!  Currently, I’m turning my dissertation on the history of nighttime in Ancient Rome into a monograph.  My next research project will examine the history of the senses and the Roman Army.
