Prof. Manuel Covo wins Gilbert Chinard Book Prize for Entrepôt of Revolutions

Prof. Manuel Covo’s new book, Entrepôt of Revolutions: Saint-Domingue, Commercial Sovereignty, and the French-American Alliance has been awarded the prestigious Gilbert Chinard Book Prize.

The Gilbert Chinard Prize is awarded annually by the Society for French Historical Studies to the best book published for the first time by a North American Press in the History of French-American relations, or the comparative history of France and North, Central, or South America.
