The History Undergraduate E-Mail Listservice

The purpose of the history undergraduate e-mail listservice is simple: to get informationto you regarding course offerings and changes, meetings, job and internship opportunities, advising, and any other general information of importance as easily and quickly as possible. So what are you waiting for? Sign up now!

To subscribe to the listservice, just send an e-mail to listserv@ucsbvm.ucsb.edu leaving the subject heading blank. In the message area type "subscribe SBHIST-L" (without the quotes) followed by your full name. You message should look like this:

After you send your message, you will receive a response asking for confirmation that you want to be added. Reply to this message typing only two letters: "OK."

 


 

Phi Alpha Theta

Membership in the Gamma Iota Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honor society, is open to students who have completed at least five courses in history with a grade-point average of 3.4 or better. Graduate students and faculty also belong to the organization. In addition to regular meetings and sponsored events on campus, there is a regional and national competition of student papers.
