I am a second year student in the Gevirts Graduate School of Education with an emphasis in Child and Adolescent Development. I am interested in qualitative research methodologies, and oral histories in particular. I also enjoy horseback riding and kept a horse at the West Campus Stables for several years.

Penza, Joseph

I was born and grew up in Providence, RI and have been studying chemistry, science studies, and history of science at Brown for the past four years. My particular historical interests lie in early modern European alchemy, astrology, chemistry and scientific/natural philosophic societies. During my time at UCSB I hope further the growth of science studies as an academic program and research interest within the university. I also enjoy skateboarding and skateboard videography.
