Lisa Jacobson worked for a number of years as an interviewer and editor at the Regional Oral History Office at UC Berkeley. She has conducted interviews with California vintners, Bay Area entrepreneurs, and community activists. She has offered undergraduate research seminars in oral history theory and method and students in her American Families and Children course (History 175D) write research papers based on oral histories that they have conducted with family members. She served as Reviews Editor for The Public
Historian in 2004-06.
