Saving and Formatting the Paper Properly

Please submit your document to the UCSB Oral History Project webmaster in Microsoft Word format. You must format your document using style tags (such as "normal", "header 1", "header 2", etc) which are available in all versions of Microsoft Word. If you have not used style tags before, please visit this link for an easy to use tutorial.

Please try and use the pre-defined styles that Microsoft has provided. This step may take place after you have already turned in the "hard-copy" of the paper, as applying the standard style tags may reduce your document's aesthetic quality - until it is reformatted for our own Web Style Sheets.
