We are sad to report that Professor Robert Collins passed away suddenly on Friday, April 11, 2008. Please see the April 25, 2008 Los Angeles Times obituary.

Research and Teaching Interests

  • Between 1962 and 2006 Robert Collins has published eight histories concerned with the Sudan, southern Sudan, Darfur, and the Nile.
