My general research interests are ancient geography and warfare. My dissertation is currently in progress and considers how Alexander of Macedon impacted geographical writing through his actions as an explorer and commander. My interest in Greek warfare primarily revolves around early hoplite warfare and its relationship to religious sacrifice.
