    This paper examines possible intellectual connections between al-Mamun’s implementation of new sociopolitical policies (813-833 CE) with those of pre-Islamic Sasanian Iran
  • Childhood Dreams, a Revolution, and the Wrath of War: Iranian Society According to a Child Soldier with American Ideals
    A historical look at Iran before, during, and after the 1979 Islamic Revolution based on my experience as a child soldier and junior paramedic for two years during the Iran-Iraq War before migrating to the United States.
