U.S. Foreign Relations

Graduate Student
B.A., Temple University; M.A., Temple University

Office: HSSB 3215
Hours:

Advisor: Salim Yaqub

My primary field is US Foreign Relations, although I am heading more in the direction of International or World history than American history. My current research focuses on cultural and political connections between the United States and the Arab world, with a specific emphasis on Saudi Arabia. I'm particularly interested in how American and Arab conceptions of religion, race, consumption and modernity shape mutual perceptions and misperceptions of each other.
