I am a registered nurse who in her later years became interested in American history, particularly in issues of antebellum mob violence related to race. I have received numerous awards for my work, among them California State, Fresno Social Science’s Dean’s Medal. My work has been published in numerous encyclopedias (partial list bellow) such as Encyclopedia of African American Biography, Oxford publishers. My work on the San Diego Superior Court Case, Lemon Grove v. Roberto Alvarez was published in The Journal of Latin/Latino American Studies, (JOLLAS). My CV is available upon request.
