Dana Frank, History, UC Santa Cruz, leads an all day OP-ED writing workshop.

Frank is the author of Local Girl Makes History: Exploring Northern California's Kitsch Monuments (2007); Bananeras: Women Transforming the Banana Unions of Latin America (2005); and Buy American: The Untold Story of Economic Nationalism (1999). She has published multiple articles in The New York Times, Washington Post, Foreign Affiars, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Houston Chronicle, Huffington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, as well as in Foreign Policy, World Policy Review, Politico Magazine, Common Dreams, and regularly in The Nation.
