Eric Boehm (read bio)
Eric H. Boehm received his PhD in internationat relations from Yale in 1951. A
pioneer in the creation of computerized databases, he founded ABC-Clio, now headquartered in Santa Barbara. ABC-Clio has grown into an international publisher of historical and educational resources, including Historical Abstracts and other bibliographic services. He is the author of We Survived: Fourteen Histories of the Hidden and Hunted in Nazi Germany, first published in 1949 by Yale University Press and recently reprinted in a fourth edition by Westview Press. Dr. Boehm currently serves as founding chairman of the Boehm Biography Group, which specializes in preserving individual, family, corporate and institutional histories.
