Dean Baker brings the nation's historic commitment to full employment back to the forefront of economic policy. Baker is widely recognized for his penetrating and prescient analyses of the Great Recession, Wall Street finance practices, and the housing bubble. Co-Founder of the Center for Economic and Policy Research, Baker is the author of several books on American political economy, including Getting Back to Full Employment (with Jared Bernstein), and The End of Loser Liberalism: Making Markets Progressive (2011), and frequent contributor to The Guardian, The Huffington Post, and MSNBC.
