Personal Statement:

I am interested in the horticultural, agricultural, and natural resource management practices of medieval Iberia and of the early modern Spanish colonies in the Americas. I am also interested in the history of food and drink, public history, and the use of space and place to teach about history and culture.

I currently serve as Collections and Program Manager at the Santa Bárbara Mission Archive-Library (SBMAL).
