COMPARATIVE GENDER HISTORY

The Comparative Gender History Brown Bag series invites UCSB graduate students and faculty members to present book/dissertation chapters, articles, dissertation prospectus, and conference papers. Since the papers are pre-circulated and read in advance, the seminar is reserved for discussion. It is our hope that this new forum will become the center of an intellectual community for gender historians working in different geographical and chronological settings. The Comparative Gender History Brown Bag meets three to four times a quarter on Mondays, from 12:00-1:00 in HSSB 4020. If you are interested in presenting your work, please contact Erika Rappaport, rappaport@history.ucsb.edu.
