Cold War Studies and International History

The Center for Cold War Studies and International History (CCWS) is an interdisciplinary program devoted to furthering the study of all aspects of international history. Our interests include, but are not limited to diplomacy, the relationship between foreign and domestic politics, war and peace, globalization, international trade and finance, international law, the environmental movement, science and medicine, transnational culture, human rights, and issues of race, ethnicity, religion, class, and gender.

The 2007-2008 CCWS schedule features a joint lecture and film series on “the Unfinished Cold War.”
