EARLY MODERN EUROPE


The emphases in early modern European history are in late medieval/early modern Portugal, Reformation Germany, the France of Louis XIV, politics and religion in seventeenth-century Britain, and the history of science and medicine in seventeenth and eighteenth century Britain. A major theme is the interrelationship of religion, politics and thought.
