Changing patterns and conceptions of inequality, World War II to present. Examines influence of economic transformation, race, gender, class, attitudes towards work and welfare, social movements, social knowledge, law and public policy on opportunity, income, status, and power.
Prerequisites:
History 17A or 17B or 17C or upper-division standing.
