Students produce a research paper on a topic of their choice in the history of either the republic or empire. From time to time, a seminar might be devoted to aspects of a particular topic.

Prerequisites:
History 113A or 133B or 113C or History 112A or 112B or 112C or 112D. May be repeated for credit in combination with History 113P for a maximum of 8 units. Recommended preparation: Writing 109HU.
