About the Course:

Making Modern America: This course will cover topics in United States history from Reconstruction to the Progressive Era (1865-1920s). Special thematic emphasis will be placed on race, reform, and the evolution of party politics.


May be repeated for credit. Open to both M.A. and Ph.D. candidates.
