My research focuses on the circulation, transfer, and adaptation of agricultural ideas between the United States and the Soviet Union during the 1920s and 1930s. In particular, I am interested in how American agricultural expertise impacted the Soviet agricultural reconstruction in the 1920s and how this experience, in turn, effected American agricultural policies during the New Deal.
