I am an Assistant Professor of History and Judaic Studies at the University of Denver, where I teach courses on the modern and pre-modern Middle East. My research focuses on the French-Jewish Alliance Israélite Universelle’s network of schools in the Ottoman Arab provinces in the late 19th and early 20th century.
